Working With Daddy

Materials: Pencil, Ink, water, cold press water color paper & paintbrushes.
Process: The artwork was made from a photo. Also, I mixed water and ink together to make paint-like solution. On a side note, the girl in the photo is my niece.
Wonder Girl

What Matters
An object painting.
Materials: Pencil, Ink, water, hot press water color paper & paintbrushes.
Process: I arranged all the objects that were important to me, for example a bible, a handheld game console, and a picture of myself. Also, I used various line techniques such as, hatching & cross hatch strokes throughout the work.
Just Savion
A caricature montage-painting, of Savion Glover (from a magazine photo).
Materials: Pencil, Ink, acrylic paint, water, hot press water color paper, paintbrushes, toothbrush, & felt tabs.
Process: I used a white acrylic paint to make the flashes of light. Also, I flicked ink wash off the bristles of a toothbrush with my thumb to make the background texture. Additionally, glued felt tabs on his sole to resemble a tap shoe.
